Shareholder Action

If you hold shares in a listed company you have an opportunity to use your power as a shareholder to ask companies to improve on issues you care about.

Moving resolutions at annual general meetings (AGMs) is one of the most powerful tools we have to change the behaviour of corporations. The Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) holds a small portfolio of shares in ASX listed companies to enable us to do just that.

Our primary focus is to firstly engage with companies and then, where appropriate, formulate and file a resolution to be put forward at an AGM. The issues we engage a company on are informed by research, a strategic opportunity identified, or in collaboration with an expert partner.
