As the global community unites to combat climate change, the critical role of finance in accelerating the energy transition has become increasingly evident. The day brought together leading financial experts, investors, advocates, and innovators to engage in discussions, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations to find solutions.

ACCR participated in two very thought-provoking discussions. Executive Director, Brynn O’Brien, led the panel on investor stewardship and corporate engagement.

Our Company Strategy - UK Lead, Nick Spooner, featured on the panel looking at the future of Oil & Gas in a zero-emissions economy.

ACCR’s climate program aims to accelerate the energy transition to a low carbon economy in line with the Paris Agreement. We engage with listed companies on their climate risk disclosure and the need to set emissions reduction targets consistent with the Paris Agreement, and we also push for reviews by listed companies of their industry associations’ climate policy advocacy.
